We take in sleds ten model years old and newer — with one permanent exception, and one phone call that can change the answer.

The rule

Ten years and newer

Parts availability is the honest reason. Chasing discontinued parts for a twenty-year-old chassis ties up the bench for weeks and keeps your sled off the snow. Drawing the line at ten years is how we keep turnaround times real for everyone in the queue.

The exception

If we built it, we honor it

Every SHR big bore build is serviced for life — no expiration date. 670s, 700s, 800Rs, 860s, the 880s — if that motor left this shop, it comes back to this shop. We have the specs and the history on it.

Ten years is a guideline, not a door slammed shut. Plenty of older DOOs still roll through here. Call John, tell him what you’ve got and what you need — he’ll tell you straight whether we can do it right or point you to someone who can. Forgot more about these sleds than most guys ever knew.
